What to expect when visitng my blog...
I would like to take a minute and share with you what to expect when looking over my blog. This page is an opportunity to share with others what I like to do in my spare time. These activities range from reading, which I need to do more of (have a mountain of books to conquer and I still buy more =)...) making my own greeting cards, ornaments and more.

Giveaways
Okay so have a question for all you fellow book lovers. I know we like to get advanced copies of books through giveaways but is there interest in winning a book that has been out for a little bit. I ask because I have all these books that I have read that I would like to find a new home for. So would anyone be interested in getting those books through a contest? Thoughts?

I would definitely be interested as well! Love the idea because there are so many of us book lovers who never were able to purchase, afford, or win books that they've been wanting to read. I know I can barely keep up with all the books I've missed lol
And furthermore, I love to pick up nice books at rummage sales that may be 50 years old (no lie) or 5 months old. For instance, I just found The Thirteenth Tale at a rummage for only .50 c !!! And, believe me, that was .50c well spent.
So a good book is a good deal, anytime :)
I would sure be interested!
No one can aford to buy all the books we want, already published or not, new books are always nice =)
I agree! Great idea!
A good way to determine which books to giveaway would be to vote on a list you're thinking about giving away. That was we get what we really want. ;)
Absolutely! I think it's a great idea. I recently had a giveaway on my blog for gently used books that I've had for a year or more and had a lot of people enter for a chance to win.
I think it's a great idea and would be very interested. I love books no matter when they were published.

I'm interested in old and new. If it's on my TBR list, I'm definitely interested. The book could be 100 years old for all I care.
